Easier to find your way around
- If your home isn't on the EPC register, you can now say so and carry on. Before, a house number with no match just stopped you.
- Your Wins has a row of buttons at the top, so you can jump straight to the part you care about.
- See how your home's band compares with the other homes on your postcode, using the public EPC register. This replaces a regional panel that used sample figures.

See your home
- EcogradeAI is now an Elmhurst Energy Associate Company. You'll see their badge at the bottom of every page.
- Put in your postcode and we'll find the most likely home and show it from above, from the street and in 3D, with its outline and the lie of the land. If we pick the wrong one, you can choose another from the list or tap it on the map.
- If an old EPC said there was another home above yours but you live in a house, "Where your heat goes" left your roof out. It now counts the roof, so your heat loss figures may have gone up.
- Older reports no longer say we had no photos to read, when the report simply didn't record which photos it used.
- "What this is based on" is clearer: it starts with how many parts of your home are confirmed and what's left to check, then gives one line per part. Tap a part to see what we know, what we think and how to settle it.

Showing what we know, and what we don't
- Your grade now comes with a likely range. It's narrower when a current EPC backs up your photos, and wider when we couldn't confirm things like your wall or loft insulation. You'll see it on your Energy Report, Your Wins and in your downloadable report.
- For each part of your home, your report now shows what we read from your photos, the EPC register or your answers, what we assumed from there, and what still needs checking.
- Heat loss is now "Where your heat goes": a plain guide to where your home loses heat and what to do next, linked to the matching improvement in your report. The technical figures have moved to your downloadable report.
- Heat loss now uses what we actually know about your home, including your EPC, your answers and your photos, and tells you when something is assumed. Because of this your heat loss figures may have changed, even if nothing about your home has.
- Grants now only show schemes that are open today for your part of the UK, and they say when one is about to end. The Home Upgrade Grant and the Great British Insulation Scheme have closed, so they no longer appear as options, and we've corrected amounts for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and Warm Homes: Local Grant. We've also corrected our headline scheme count.
- We now show schemes for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as England.
- We no longer add up the maximum from different schemes into one total, because most can't be combined that way.
- Your downloadable report now says where each reading came from, and says "None recorded" rather than "None installed" when we have no reading of solar panels. Where an assessor has checked your home, it shows how many points apart we were.

A simpler home page
- Straight after the opening, the home page now plays a short animation of what EcoGrade.ai does for the people in a home: from your street to your front door, the photos you take, where the heat is leaving, your EPC-style grade, and the fixes and grants that make it warmer and cheaper to run. It works whether or not your home has an EPC.
- The free EPC checker has its own page, so it's easier to find and to share.
- How it works now opens the Services page, just above the prices.
- The postcode box no longer shrinks to a thin strip on phones, here or on the grants and council pages, the data table in the privacy policy now scrolls instead of widening the page, and the award badges in the footer sit in one row.

Clearer when there's no EPC
- If your home has no EPC on the public register, the free check now says so clearly before you carry on, and explains that your grade will be an estimate rather than a certified EPC. The same goes for a certificate that won't open or a register that isn't answering.
- When the EPC register is down, the check no longer tells you your postcode has no properties.
- EcoGrade.ai is now a member of the UK Green Building Council, and you'll find us on the London Startup Map. Both are in the site footer.
- The browser tab now shows the EcoGrade.ai logo.

Asking what photos can't show
- The free check now asks whether you've seen signs of cavity wall insulation and how deep your loft insulation is, so your grade doesn't have to guess what photos can't show. If your EPC certificate already answers the wall question, it isn't asked.
- If you tell the survey something on your certificate has changed, it asks about that next instead of at the end.
- Questions you ask the survey once it's finished are now answered about your home, not in general terms.
- Refreshing the survey page no longer loses your answers.
- When you finish the free check, signing up now opens right there instead of taking you to another page, in a redesigned sign-in window that matches the rest of the site.
- Photographing your home is clearer: the wall and the window now get their own photos, so we can spot cavity wall insulation and tell double from triple glazing, and you're only asked for your floor plan once.
- Your downloadable energy report has been redesigned: it opens with a contents page, explains exactly where your score comes from and how it compares with your registered EPC, and records each part of your home the way an assessor would.
- Brought the common questions back on their own FAQ page, so the answers are easy to find from the menu or a search.
- Solar panels now count for about what they add on an official EPC. Checked against 85 homes graded by a qualified assessor, they had been lifting good homes to an A that none of them earned.
- Your results and report now show how your grade compares with your registered EPC. The comparison was being worked out but not saved.
- The privacy policy now uses the same colours as the rest of the site.

Your EPC register, built into the survey
- The survey now finds your home on the EPC register as soon as you give your postcode, shows your certificate as it goes, and skips the questions it already answers.
- The survey chat builds a picture of your home as you answer: a rough grade that moves with each answer, where it is likely losing heat, and the schemes that could help pay. You can also ask it questions along the way.
- Homes with an EPC on the government register are now rated against it. Photos can only move the grade away from the registered one when they show something has changed.
- Rebuilt the free EPC checker on the new design and put it on the home page.
- The grants panel now lists only the schemes a home qualifies for, with the rest a click away alongside the reason they didn't match.
- Flats that don't own their roof no longer get a rooftop solar estimate. Top-floor flats still do, with a note about getting the freeholder's consent.
- New home page animations: a street sorting itself by grade, animated improvement tiles, and an animated How it works.
- Rebuilt the blog on the new design and started this changelog.

A new look, a guided survey and real payments
- Relaunched the whole site with a new look, built to feel as trustworthy as a bank.
- Turned the survey into a guided conversation. Survey starts more than tripled, from 6 in August to 20 in September.
- Added an interactive 3D house that shows homeowners exactly where their home loses heat.
- Went live with real card payments.
- Published a methodology board that explains how every figure in the report is calculated.
- Added an internal dashboard showing how many people reach each step, from sign-up to payment.
